Distrito Castellana Norte appointed Álvaro Aresti as President

Distrito Castellana Norte (DCN) appointed today Álvaro Aresti as Chairman of the Board.  

The unanimous approval of Madrid Nuevo Norte by the Madrid City Council on 29 July opened a new era at DCN, which has been further reinforced by Aresti’s appointment.  

Madrid, 8 August 2019. Madrid Nuevo Norte will create 10,500 new dwellings (20% of which will be social housing) and a CBD with over one million m2 of state-of-the-art offices, next to a renovated Chamartín train station. This will decisively contribute to putting the Spanish capital at the forefront of Europe’s pioneering and sustainable cities while improving the quality of life of millions of people.

Álvaro Aresti is a professional with more than three decades of experience at BBVA, where he was the Head of Global Client Coverage & Corporate Finance until May 2019, in the wholesale banking, Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) area. He holds a Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and is a Certified European Financial Analyst by the European Federation of Financial Analysts).
