Target description

The indicators that assess the impact of these actions by Madrid Nuevo Norte were prepared based on the 169 targets associated with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the targets taken on by the Madrid City Council and localised for the city.

    3.3 By 2030, end the epidemics of AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and neglected tropical diseases and combat hepatitis, water-borne diseases and other communicable diseases.

    3.8 Achieve universal health coverage, including financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all.

Madrid Nuevo Norte project actions

The allocation of three infrastructure plots for health services is planned.

What is the impact?

The health infrastructure planned in the project will help to reduce the number of people without access to health services less than 5 minutes away in the area of influence of Madrid Nuevo Norte.

Operational indicator

Accessibility of health facilities: proportion of the population living less than a 5-minute walk from a health facility.
