Target description

The indicators that assess the impact of these actions by Madrid Nuevo Norte were prepared based on the 169 targets associated with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the targets taken on by the Madrid City Council and localised for the city.

    3.3 By 2030, end the epidemics of AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and neglected tropical diseases and combat hepatitis, water-borne diseases and other communicable diseases.

    3.8 Achieve universal health coverage, including financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all.

The allocation of 8 plots for infrastructure for social services has been planned.

What is the impact?

The health-related social infrastructure (care for people with disabilities, the elderly and comprehensive care centres for people with drug dependence) planned in Madrid Nuevo Norte will help reduce the number of people without access to basic health services located less than 5 minutes away in the area of influence of Madrid Nuevo Norte.

Accessibility of health-related social services: Proportion of the population within 5 minutes of health-related social services.
