Target description

The indicators that assess the impact of these actions by Madrid Nuevo Norte were prepared based on the 169 targets associated with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the targets taken on by the Madrid City Council and localised for the city.

  • Sustainable Development GOALS

    7.3 By 2030, double the global rate of improvement in energy efficiency.

    9.1 Develop quality, reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure, including regional and transborder infrastructure, to support economic development and human well-being, with a focus on affordable and equitable access for all.

  • Madrid SDG

    M 7.5 By 2030, have implemented an energy efficiency system with more than 80% of municipal energy consumption monitored and accessible in the open data portal.

    M 7.6 Improve the energy rating of municipal buildings and facilities.

    M 7.7 By 2030, increase the use of zero-emission vehicles.

    M 7.8 Ensure that by 2030, 100% of the EMT bus fleet is 'green' or 'clean'.

Madrid Nuevo Norte has planned mass deployment of electric mobility by planning and designing an electrical network with the technical characteristics to accommodate a high-capacity recharging infrastructure.
