The indicators that assess the impact of these actions by Madrid Nuevo Norte were prepared based on the 169 targets associated with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the targets taken on by the Madrid City Council and localised for the city.

Operational indicator
Madrid Nuevo Norte has an Agenda 2030 Localisation Strategy developed in line with the Strategy of the City of Madrid.
Both institutions are committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and aligning their long-term strategies through a coordination office in the City Council, and the coordination office of the Madrid Regional Government.
The Madrid Nuevo Norte project was also approved unanimously in plenary session of the City Council, and is a fundamental part of Madrid's long-term strategy, as demonstrated by its inclusion as a candidate for the Mission to create climate-neutral cities and other flagship initiatives.
